"Kaiji" is a hugely popular manga telling the story of a young loser, Kaiji Ito, who struggles through constant troubles. It has sold more than 17 million copies in total, and its popularity and renowned name led to the production of an animation series in 2007, as well as a live action feature film in 2009. The long-awaited second series has begun in spring 2011 on NTV.

The second series "Against All Rules" begins with Kaiji, who is on the run after accumulating more than 10 million yen in debt, going to ask Endo again about new opportunities for gambling. But on his way, he gets caught and sent to a labor camp deep underground. Life there is horrible. It's not only hot, noisy, dirty and stinky, but completely unhealthy. Although the hard work and terrible environment take a toll on Kaiji's body, he fights for his way out of the underground labor camp, with hopes of paying off his debt and finally leading a life of freedom!
