A forbidden and controversial story by TEZUKA Osamu, the godfather of Japanese manga comics, is　now made into a suspense action blockbuster movie for the 80th anniversary of his birth!

Introduction :
TEZUKA Osamu still stays on the top in Japanese manga and animation history 20 years after his death. There are numbers of masterpieces he created such as "Astroboy," "Firebird," "Leo the Lion (or "Jungle Emperor")," "Black Jack," and "Dororo".
“MW” was written by Tezuka almost 30 years ago, and it still throws questions to people vividly. The story follows two men at the mercy of fate, but in this story he also addressed his universal theme, the effects of the excessive high-technology to nature.
With the most remarkable young actors in Japan, Hiroshi Tamaki and Takayuki Yamada, the story is full of excitement. The director, Hiroshi Iwamoto, whose talent has been proved by his several hit TV dramas, and the scriptwriter of the DEATH NOTE series, Tetsuya Oishi joined the project.

Story :
16 years ago, an incident occurred and all inhabitants on an island were killed. The truth to this incident was covered up overnight by the authorities. Everything was supposedly blown over by fully prepared concealment.
However, there were two boys who happened to survive by a twist of fate... One boy, Michio Yuki, became an incredibly beautiful and very clever evil person who plots revenge on the government. The other boy, Yutaro Garai became a priest who pursues peace and justice. Evil and justice. Darkness and light. They shared the same past, but it brought them to be completely opposites of each other.
Yuki finds about “MW”; the horrible chemical-weapon which caused the incident years ago, and finally obtains it. With “MW”, he tries to move his plan of terminating all mankind with himself…
