Of all the Japanese network dramas beginning broadcast from October, "I'm Mita, Your Housekeeper." will be the first serial drama to be broadcast overseas at such an early date.

Since Japanese dramas are typically broadcast overseas upon completion of the entire drama series in Japan, the announcement to broadcast "I'm Mita, Your Housekeeper." overseas at such an early stage, before even a single episode is ever aired in Japan, is groundbreaking, and an encouraging sign that this drama is a global attention-grabber.

The mysterious non-smiling, non-subservient, robot-like housekeeper featured in this unusual drama attempts to save a family on the verge of falling apart. It has been two years since actress Nanako Matsushima, who has achieved deep-rooted popularity in Asia, has starred in a serial drama.
