His name is Rintaro Hino. He listens closely to the aching hearts of people and relieves them of their pain.

The number of people waiting to receive his consultation continues to grow.

Despite his achievements, Dr. Rintaro falls short in one department: love.

After his usual session with one of his biggest clients, RINTARO HINO (Masato Sakai) witnesses a woman standing on a ledge of a building about to plunge to her death. Being the righteous psychiatrist that he is, Rintaro climbs over the fence to offer a cup of tea and some of his consultation. Rintaro has a keen talent of finding somebody in need and listens thoroughly to people's pain. Moreover, as a psychiatrist, he is good. Such Rintaro's professionalism draws patients who want his medical consultation and the TV media feature him as a charismatic doctor.

Back at his university hospital where he practices and also teaches, Rintaro is invited to dinner with the chairman along with his fellow colleagues at a "geisha ozashiki." A first-timer at a "geisha-ozashiki" where guests dine and whilst enjoy the company from a geisha, Rintaro meets YUMENO (Yu Aoi), the chairman's favorite geisha. Rintaro preaches in his classroom that "Romance--is a type of psychiatric disorder" -and it is his professional policy to restrain himself from not falling in love. Instantly drawn to Yumeno, Rintaro begins to think that she may prove him wrong...

Meanwhile, little does Rintaro know that there is a clandestine plot underway that could professionally ruin him...

Dr. Rintaro is portrayed by Masato Sakai, a popular actor who has played the lead role in numerous hit dramas. Yumeno, the heroine, is played by Yu Aoi.
