Sota Tawara lives and works in Tokyo as a web designer. His family runs an udon shop back home, where he returns upon the death of his father. While back at his home town, he happens to open a cooking pot only to find a kid who's fast asleep inside.

At first glance, the kid looks like a normal human child. A closer look, however, reveals a reccoon dog that has transformed into a person!

Time goes by slowly in idyllic Kagawa Prefecture, fondly called "Udon Prefecture," where the slightly awkward duo begins their heartwarming relationship under the same roof.
