Nippon Television Network Corporation (NTV) Group will broadcast Yomiuri Giants baseball games for the 2008 season via terrestrial broadcasting, BS, CS, the Internet, "1-SEG" and all other transmission platforms to satisfy viewers' various needs.

On terrestrial broadcasting, the first five opening games from April 1 at Tokyo Dome are scheduled to be broadcast with a 30-minute extension to build up momentum for the 2008 season. BS broadcasting plans to air games until 21:54 (a one hour extension) throughout the season.

From this year, NTV plans to air "Premium Night Games" for "1-SEG" digital terrestrial broadcasting. Baseball fans are sure to be satisfied with being able to watch baseball games on mobile phones equipped with "1-SEG" TV.

Numbers of Yomiuri Giants baseball games (home games) scheduled for broadcast for the 2008 season are as follows:

Terrestrial broadcasting (NTV): 41 games (including day games)
Terrestrial broadcasting (NTV) or BS Nippon: 2 games
BS Nippon: 19 games
"G+" (CS Nippon): 72 games
