Partial Amendments to Articles of Incorporation

Nippon Television Network Corporation (NTV) announces that at the Board of Directors Meeting on May 12, 2011, a resolution was passed to deliberate partial amendments to the Articles of Incorporation at the 78th General Shareholders Meeting scheduled for June 29, 2011.
1.Purpose of amendments
(1) In light of the convergence of the legal systems governing various types of broadcasting formats, the provision of "Purpose" (Article 2 of the current Articles of Incorporation) will be partially amended in accordance to the execution of the "Act Concerning Partial Revision of the Broadcast Act"(Act No. 65, 2010). (Revision of Article 2, Item 1 of the current Articles of Incorporation, and Deletion of Item 5)
(2) In response to the expansion of future Internet-related businesses, additions to the business purpose have been made.(newly added amendment proposals Item 15 and Item 16)
(3) In accordance to the amendments of (1) and (2), the numbering in Article 2 will be revised. The Articles of Incorporation shall become effective as of the implementation date of the "Act Concerning Partial Revision of the Broadcast Act"(Act No. 65, 2010).
2.Details of amendments Amendments are as follows.
