China fully verifies its military capabilities after military drills encircling Taiwan

On October 14, the Chinese military held exercises encircling Taiwan and announced in the evening that the drills had concluded after "fully verifying the operational capabilities of the units."

The exercises reportedly included participation from aircraft carriers, and the China Coast Guard also conducted patrols around Taiwan.

Meanwhile, Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense reported that 125 Chinese military aircraft, including drones, were spotted around Taiwan.

On the 10th of this month, during the National Day ceremony known as the "Double Tenth Day," President Lai Ching-te stated, "China has no right to represent Taiwan."

The exercises are seen as pressure on the Lai administration, which rejects China's claim that "Taiwan is a part of China."
