Imperial Family returns to Imperial Palace from Nasu Imperial Villa in Tochigi
Emperor Naruhito, Empress Masako and their daughter Princess Aiko arrived at Inui-mon Gate at the Imperial Palace at around 5:30 p.m. on September 19.
Princess Aiko opened the window and waved at people with a smile.
The Imperial Family arrived at Nasushiobara Station, Tochigi Prefecture, by Shinkansen and chatted with well-wishers outside the station.
At the Nasu Imperial Villa, Princess Aiko told reporters that she hoped to fully enjoy nature while cherishing the unique experiences and pleasures that can only be found in Nasu.
This time, Princess Aiko stayed for seven nights and eight days, marking her first summer vacation since starting her job at the Japanese Red Cross Society in April.
