According to sources, a Japanese man in his 20s exposed his buttocks at the Great Wall in Beijing in January 2025.

A Japanese woman who was with him, also in her 20s, took a photo of him showing his buttocks.

The two were detained on the spot and were held in custody for two weeks by Chinese authorities for violating the Public Security Administration Punishments Law.

The tourists, who were later deported, said that they took the action as a prank.
