TEPCO retrieves debris removal device from Fukushima Daiichi

Tokyo Electric Power Company retrieved the debris removal device that was used at  Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.

TEPCO retrieved the device on September 25, a week after the camera mounted on the device stopped working, forcing the operator to suspend the debris removal process.

The operator believes there was a defect in the camera, and said it will further investigate the matter.

It has not been able to set a date for the resumption of the debris removal work.
