Fast Retailing posts record-high 3 trillion yen in annual sales

Fast Retailing, which operates the UNIQLO chain of clothing stores, has set its new record with annual sales exceeding 3 trillion yen. Its annual sales from last September to this August totaled 3,103.8 billion yen, increasing 12.2 percent from the previous year. This was the first time Fast Retailing’s sales  exceeded 3 trillion yen. UNIQLO's name recognition overseas, particularly in Europe and the U.S., helped boost sales, while inbound demand in Japan grew significantly.

In addition to continuing to open stores overseas, the company plans to enhance the strength of the Group's brands, such as the "GU" casual wear brand and aims to achieve sales of 3.4 trillion yen during its business year through the end of August 2025.
