Japan's Prince Hisahito gets driver's license

Japan’s Prince Hisahito of Akishino, who will enter the University of Tsukuba in April, obtained his driver’s license.

According to sources, the Prince passed the exam on February 14 and was issued a standard driver’s license.

The Prince had been taking driving classes at a driving school in Tokyo.

According to aides, they have yet to decide how Prince Hisahito will be commuting from his residence in Tokyo to the university campus, which is over an hour away.

They are debating appropriate and safe ways for him to go to school.
