Johnny's sexual abuse victims ask police to investigate former staff's sexual abuse

Two victims who have alleged sexual abuse by Johnny Kitagawa visited Tokyo’s Akasaka Police Station on May 16.

Nakamura Kazuya and Nagato Koji, former members of Johnny & Associates, called for investigation into sexual assaults allegedly committed by two former employees.

The allegations came to light during an investigation last year by a special team for recurrence prevention.

According to “SMILE-UP.”, one of them is a male staff member who was with the agency until over ten years ago, while the other is “SMILE-UP.” President Higashiyama Noriyuki’s former manager, who left the company in September last year.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department responded that it will be difficult to start an investigation at this stage without a complaint or evidence from the victims themselves.

S/ Nagato Koji, sexual abuse victim: Police cannot move unless there is a clear victim. I would like “SMILE-UP.” to provide information by all means.

The metropolitan police said they would take the stories of Namakura and Nagato into account and respond appropriately
