Yumeshima Station connected to the 2025 World Expo venue opened on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line on January 19.

Train fans gathered to see off the first train at around 5 a.m.

Over half the visitors to the expo are expected to use the sole train route to the venue.

S/ Railway fan / I made the effort to come early to capture the first train in my memory. The station is beautiful, and I'm happy to think that the expo is nearing.

The expo will take place on Yumeshima, an artificial island in Osaka Bay, from April 13 to October 13.
