The Imperial Household Agency reported that Emperor Naruhito’s niece, Princess Kako, is set to visit Greece for one week in late May.

The Greek government extended the invitation to mark 125 years of friendship with Japan.

The princess will visit the President in Athens and attend other diplomatic events.

This will be the princess’s third diplomatic visit abroad.
