Princess Kako returned from her official trip to Greece on June 1.

The Princess visited Kashikodokoro, one of three Imperial Palace Sanctuaries and one which enshrines the Imperial Ancestor Amaterasu-omikami, on June 3.

She waved to those on the street as she entered the palace grounds at 10AM.

Kako reported her safe return to Japan after an 8 day official visit to Greece to commemorate 125 years of diplomatic relations between Greece and Japan.

The Greek and Japanese prime ministers jointly declared 2024 as the “Greece-Japan Year of Culture and Tourism.”
