Former PM thinks Koizumi is too you to become prime minister
Former Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi Junichiro / I think Shinjiro is a little too young. I’ve been telling him to consider when he’s over 50 years old, but it seems like he’ll go for it. He’s a grown-up, so I’m not going to say much. I told him to make his own decisions.
Former Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi Junichiro said that his son Koizumi Shinjiro smiled and did not respond to his words.
He added that Shinjiro has not reported his decision to his family.
Junichiro had told his son that it is premature for him to become the prime minister, and he should be supporting someone instead.
