Champs Elysees shines in Christmas Lightings

S/ Sato Atsushi, NNN Paris bureau chief:

The Champs-Elysées is now all lit up at once. Many are cheering loudly with their smartphones in their hands!

When the lighting started on November 24, the Champs-Elysées celebrated the arrival of the holiday season with fireworks and confetti.

400 trees along the avenue were illuminated with gorgeous gold-based glitters, and the lights will flash every 15 minutes.

S/ Visitor: People need to live ‘one time for life’ in this moment.  I love Christmas. Staying here, living this life with my boyfriend is amazing.

This year, a 13.5-meter-high Christmas tree also appeared near Arc de Triomphe to allure many people with its warm glow.

The lights will continue shining until early January 2025.
