21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa fully reopens

The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, in Ishikawa Prefecture fully reopened on June 22 after it suspended many exhibits due to damage from the Noto Peninsula earthquake.

The New Year’s Day earthquake caused the glass ceiling of the exhibition hall to fall, resulting in the suspension of many exhibits.

As safety measures were completed, the museum fully reopened.

The popular installation “Swimming Pool” is now open to visitors again, and tourists were enjoying the artwork with cameras and smartphones in hand.
