Japanese rockstar YOSHIKI donates $500,000 for LA wildfire survivors

Japanese rockstar YOSHIKI of X JAPAN donated $500,000 and volunteered for the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires.

As a fellow LA resident, YOSHIKI helped distribute chicken and rice to the long line of fire victims near Altadena on January 31.

S/ YOSHIKI, X JAPAN / My friends were affected, and I was feeling a little depressed.
I thought that taking action could help me. I was able to donate as well. I can give energy and gain energy by interacting with the victims.

YOSHIKI donated $500,000 or about 77 million yen to a charity organization. Other notable Japanese donations include Ohtani Shohei who also donated $500,000.
