Japan's Princess Kako met with visiting Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni at the Akasaka Estate in Tokyo on September 26.

Kako made an official visit to Greece in May this year, which marks the 125th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations.

Aides said the princess, speaking in English, thanked her guest for the hospitality during her trip to Greece.

Kako also reminisced on the time she spent with Kefalogianni in Greece, including touring the Acropolis Museum and attending an event on Corfu Island.

The aides said the Greek minister thanked Kako for visiting her country in May.

Kako expressed her wish for further exchanges in various areas between Japan and Greece.
