Outer space business event held in Tokyo
More than 100 companies from Japan and abroad are showcasing their services and products in a space exploration business event in Tokyo.
Among the exhibited products are uniquely developed satellites and space-related travel and insurance services.
A full-scale model of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s Asteroid Explorer "Hayabusa2" and a balloon-type cabin for two passengers that will allow the general public to fly to outer space were also showcased.

A trial flight to an altitude of 20,000 meters has been conducted in July 2024, and commercial operation is scheduled for next spring or later.
