SoftBank and others to invest $500 billion in AI
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on January 21 that Japan's SoftBank Group, Open AI and Oracle will together invest $500 billion on AI infrastructure in the United States.
The announcement came during a joint news conference with SoftBank Group CEO Son Masayoshi, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Oracle chief technology officer Larry Ellison.
