All Nippon Airways has launched a plane with designs themed on the 2025 World Expo that will take place in Osaka, western Japan.

The aircraft named "EXPO2025 ANA JET" was unveiled at Haneda Airport in Tokyo on December 12.

Flight attendants will also wear aprons with expo-themed designs.

Like the plane, the apron is designed in blue and red, the colors of Myaku-Myaku, the official mascot of the expo scheduled from April 13 to October 13 next year.

S/ Inoue Shinichi, President, All Nippon Airways / For people from all over the world who will visit the Osaka-Kansai expo, we hope this plane will become a symbol of flying toward the future with dreams and hopes.

Seen off by Myaku-Myaku, the aircraft flew to Kansai International Airport in Osaka Prefecture later in the day.

The plane is scheduled to operate on domestic flights from December 12 to September or October next year.
