Japan Shogi Association unveils new Shogi Hall
The new Shogi Hall, marking the centenary of the Japan Shogi Association, has been completed in Sendagaya, Tokyo, and was opened to the public on September 8.

The matches for the rest of the year will be held at the current Shogi Hall, with plans to begin holding matches at the new Shogi Hall starting next year.
The new Shogi Hall features an event space and a café, providing a place where anyone can easily enjoy and become familiar with shogi.
For the construction of the brand new Shogi Hall, a crowdfunding campaign was launched, raising a total of over 1.2 billion yen.
