Cool sharing spots set up at Tokyo and Osaka stations

S/ Yamashita Risa, NTV Reporter / We can cool down on this chair where cold wind is blowing.

This cool sharing spot was set up at Tokyo Station on July 11.

Clothing retailer Uniqlo organized the event for a limited time.

Users can feel cold breeze produced by machines or have staffers manually fan them using a gigantic fan.

A limited number of users can get a bottle of water and a salt tablet.

Organizers also hung wind chimes for soothing sound effects.

S/ User / It felt very cool. Due to visual effects, it felt cooler than it actually was.

S/ User / We have small kids with us. They're probably more sensitive to heat than us adults. A resting place is very precious.

The event runs through July 14 at Tokyo Station and Osaka-umeda Station.
