Japan’s cherry blossom season is just around the corner.

Various weather companies have released the forecast for when Japan’s symbolic flower will bloom.

According to the Japan Weather Association, cherry blossoms in Tokyo are expected to bloom on March 22 — as early as next week!

The flowers are expected to start blooming in Fukuoka Prefecture on March 24, Osaka on March 27, and Sapporo on April 25.

The flowers are expected to bloom fully a week after it starts blooming.

However, please note that the dates could change depending on the weather and temperature.

Cherry blossoms hold special meanings and sentiments for the Japanese.
