Japan Airlines introduced a Dodger’s Ohtani Shohei themed plane for domestic flights titled “DREAM SHO JET” on September 28.

Both batting and pitching images are depicted of the multiple record holding Ohtani.

The Ohtani themed plane was made as a symbol of JAL’s “DREAM MILE PASS” project, which aims to support young people who are chasing their dreams.

Two Olympic gold medalists, track and field athlete Kitaguchi Haruka and fencer Kano Koki, attended the event where the new design was unveiled.

Drinks and paper cups served on this plane will also have the exclusive design.

The first flight will be from Haneda Airport to New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido.

The Ohtani themed plane will fly domestically until March 2026
