Woman intrudes into foreign minister's parliamentary residence
Foreign Minister Iwaya Takeshi said a woman he does not know had intruded into his parliamentary residence unit in Tokyo's Akasaka area when he came home last week.
Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru also uses the parliamentary residence in addition to staying at his official residence.
Chief Cabinet Secretary Hayashi Yoshimasa said the government has increased its vigilance in response to the incident.
Iwaya said that there was no harm done and that he had the woman leave immediately.
