When asked about the bees appearing in the middle of Tokyo, passersby said…
Passerby: That’s pretty bad, isn’t it. Right in the middle of busy Shinjuku…
Passerby: I'll be careful not to walk near it. I don’t want to irritate them...

Nippon TV Reporter: The bees are clustered and rarely fly around.
According to experts, these are honeybees.
They are thought to be in the process of moving to a new hive, known as swarming, and are unlikely to sting.
Experts say that they will find a new hive and fly away in a few days at the most, so leaving them alone is best.
