Osaka crab saves dragon tail
This dragon sculpture affixed to a building in Osaka has been an iconic symbol of Kinryuu Ramen's Dotonbori outlet.
However, the company that owns the adjacent land demanded that the tail part be removed in August because it was overhanging its property.
On September 17, locals were surprised to see what happened to the tail.
NTV Reporter / Kinryuu Ramen's dragon's tail was cut off last month. A crab living nearby picked up its tail recently.
A crab restaurant near the ramen outlet worked together with a sign manufacturer to showcase the dragon's tail.
The tail will be in the crab's claws for a limited period.
Local / I couldn't believe it. It's really the "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade" attitude. I think even the locals will be surprised when they see it.
The dragon has been crying "tears of joy" since September 17.
