Typhoon No. 10 likely to cause suspensions of Shinkansen bullet train services early next week

Typhoon Shanshan (Typhoon No. 10) is expected to approach the Japanese archipelago early next week.

JR Central (JR Tokai) has announced the possibility of planned suspensions or extended stoppages on the entire Tokaido Shinkansen line or certain sections between August 27 and 28.

Similarly, JR West has announced that there may be planned suspensions or extended stoppages on the entire Sanyo Shinkansen line or certain sections during the same period.
