NTT Group unveiled on June 17 a technology that can change the tone and intonation of a person’s voice in real time.

The technology can also convert voices to those of anime characters listed on the app.

In the future, it is expected to be used to transform intimidating voices received at call centers into calm ones, and to convert foreign language speech into more fluent, native-like pronunciation.
