Japan MSDF releases footage of F-35B, the STOVL fighter jet, landing and takeoff from destroyer Kaga.

The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force released footage of a fighter jet’s takeoff and landing on destroyer Kaga off the coast of San Diego, California in the United States.

Operational tests were conducted between October 5 and November 6 for the first time on Kaga, which completed the first phase of renovating the helicopter carrier to an official aircraft carrier.
