TIPS-How to get updates on Typhoons-Useful info

Typhoons are now more and more familiar in Japan, with heavy rain and strong winds recently. But how should you get the updates and be prepared? Here are some tips.

2."KIKIKURU" is the information page to protect you and your family's lives from landslides, flooding, and flood disasters. 

The status of risks for landslides and river overflows are shown here in four segments such as landslide and floods.The risk level of landslides caused by Typhoon no.10 as of  7 pm on August 29, purple area indicates the high risked area and red area indicates warning. Yellow for caution alert.

Concerning Floods, yellow area has increased, due to continuous rain.

When heavy rain warnings, flood warnings, landslide warning information, etc. are announced, or when heavy rain begins to fall, you can find out where the risk of landslides, flooding, and flood disasters is increasing.
