Johnny & Associates' successor company SMILE-UP. announced on June 5 that it set up an organization that focuses on social activities.

General Incorporated Association Mindful will help create an environment where victims of sexual crime can receive support.

It will also provide aid to disaster-affected areas when a large-scale disaster occurs.

SMILE-UP. said that it decided to establish Mindful so it can dedicate to compensate victims of alleged sexual abuse by its late founder Johnny Kitagawa.

The announcement said that Julie Keiko Fujishima, the former CEO of Johnny's, is one of the members of the new association.
