China’s Ministry of National Defense launched ICBM carrying a dummy warhead as part of training on September 25 at 9:44AM Japan time. China launched the missile towards the Pacific Ocean and announced that it landed in the target area. The Ministry of National Defense said that the launch was in a part of regular training, abided by international law and customary international law, and that there were no specified countries or goals. According to CCTV, China contacted all related countries ahead of time. However, experts believe that it was aimed to restrain the United States.
