Shouting Out Words of Love towards Sacred Couple Rocks in Japan.
An event is held to shout out words of affection and thanks to loved ones ahead of Good Couples Day in Japan.In Japanese, the numbers “11-22” can be read phonetically as “ii fuu-fu” which means “good couple”.S/Participant to his wife: I really, really love you; I just love you so much!

An event was held on November 17 in the city of Ise in Mie Prefecture to shout out words of love to families and loved ones ahead of Good Couples Day.
The event was organized to coincide with Good Couples Day on November 22, when people shout words of gratitude and love towards Meoto Iwa.
This year, ten couples and other groups took part and shouted out their feelings.

S/Participant: Mom and Dad, thank you. I hope you live to be 100 years old!

Meoto Iwa, which is also known as the “wedded rocks”, the formation has been well known since the Edo period and is regarded as sacred and a symbol of marital bliss.
