Around ten vehicles including tour buses were involved in a collision in Hokkaido’s second largest city Asahikawa on February 15.

The collision can be seen blocking the road near Asahiyama Zoo, a major tourist spot known for its resident penguins.

The police received a call around 10:30AM reporting that six to seven buses and two other vehicles were involved in an accident.

Multiple people were injured and three people were sent to the hospital. All are said to be conscious.

The police are investigating the cause of the collision.
