Newborn fawns debut in Nara
An ancient city in western Japan is welcoming some newborns.
This year’s newborn fawns were shown to the public at a park in Nara.
The city was once Japan’s capital and is famous for its temples and a deer park with around 1,000 friendly deer.
The event is organized by the Foundation for the Protection of Deer in Nara and takes place around June when the deer give birth.
The fawns will debut in the park by mid-July.
