It’s girls’ day in Japan today (Monday), and even pandas are getting into the action.

A female panda at a zoo in western Japan got a traditional sweet associated with the festival.

Instead of the usual bean paste, the sweet was made out of ice flavored with apples and carrots.

Workers at the zoo said they hope the one-year-old female grows into a good mom, just like her own mother.
