Japan cleans up from typhoon Halong

 

People in Japan are cleaning up after Typhoon Halong brought death and destruction to the country over the weekend.

Halong claimed three lives as rivers burst their banks in different parts of the nation.

Landslides and flooding forced people to evacuate in western Japan.

A junior high school that was to be used as a shelter in Tokushima prefecture was flooded to the second floor.

Students had to cut their summer vacations short to clean up their muddy classrooms.
