U.S. President Barack Obama visits Tokyo next week.

The city’s mass transit system is stepping up security in preparation.

Train operator JR East closed coin lockers inside 14 major stations.

All lockers will be closed for Obama’s visit.

Trash bins whose contents are not visible will also be shut to prevent terror incidents.

President Obama will be in Japan from April 23rd to 25th.
