Pitching ace Masahiro Tanaka shined with the New York Yankees on Wednesday.

But Yankee Stadium isn’t the only stage where Tanaka is on display.

A doll maker in Tokyo displayed a traditional doll modeled on Tanaka.

Many families in Japan celebrate boys’ day on May 5th by displaying traditional dolls.

Each year, doll makers create special editions.

This year, pitcher Tanaka and new Tokyo governor Yoichi Masuzoe were chosen for the honor.

The two stars will be on show till April 16th.
