Setsubun demons have kids crying for good luck
People in Japan have an unusual way of bringing good luck.
Crying children are said to drive away demons and bring good fortune.
Today, people in southwestern Japan celebrated a festival in which men dressed as demons visit houses with children and terrify them so that they will cry.
The annual event is part of the spring festival called Setsubun in which people chase demons to bring good fortune.
The more the demons cry, the more good luck is thought to be brought.
