Japan Expo launches in Paris
Fans of Japanese culture are heading to the Japan Expo in France today.
Europe’s largest Japanese culture event opened for business near Paris.
Anime and manga are the main events.
NTV is premiering a new anime feature, “Sengoku Basara Judge End.”
Other highlights include “Funassyi,” the popular unofficial mascot for the city of Funabashi, a suburb of Tokyo.
Tottori Prefecture in western Japan also set up a booth in a bid to put itself on the tourism map.
Organizers expect 260,000 people to attend the 2-day event.
