NTV-Produced Serial Drama "MOTHER" Wins Magnolia Award at Shanghai Television Festival for "The Award of Asian TV Series for Commemoration and Exchange!"

At the Shanghai Television Festival, the largest international market for television programs where outstanding content from around the world are showcased, serial drama "MOTHER," produced by Nippon Television Network (NTV), won the Magnolia Award for "The Award of Asian TV Series for Commemoration and Exchange" on June 10, 2011.

The Magnolia Award, considered one of the most prestigious television awards in China, is an honor for those who produced the drama as well as for the cast members. In particular, "The Award of Asian TV Series for Commemoration and Exchange" is based on quality, artistry and marketability, and has been awarded for the past three years to Japan and Korea. The award ceremony was broadcast live across China on Shanghai Dragon TV.
