Japan's First-Ever Global Streaming Simulcast of a Golden Primetime Drama!

Nippon Television Network Corporation ("NTV"), headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo and headed by Yoshio Okubo, Representative Director and President, is proud to announce that its new Saturday drama, "AKUMU-CHAN" (My Little Nightmare), which starts on October 13, 2012, will broadcast on Crunchyroll, Inc.'s streaming website. Crunchyroll, Inc., headquartered in San Francisco, California and headed by Kun Gao, CEO, will simulcast My Little Nightmare in the same season that it is broadcasted in Japan. My Little Nightmare will be available in the following English-speaking territories: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland, and South Africa. This is the first time in history that a Japanese drama, slotted for golden primetime, will be streamed to international audiences while it is still broadcasting locally in its regular season.

My Little Nightmare is about a very strange teacher with trust issues and a fifth grade girl who transfers to the school and becomes her student. It turns out that the girl has the power to see the future through her nightmares. The teacher suddenly finds herself scrambling to prevent the girl's nightmarish premonitions from actually happening in the world. My Little Nightmare is a Sci-Fi School Fantasy filled with comedic elements that the entire family can enjoy.

At NTV, we strive to expediently deliver our contents to international markets soon after their local broadcasts in order to quickly provide entertainment to global audiences and to prevent illegal activities such as the uploading of pirated videos. Moreover, NTV will continue to put great efforts in producing high-quality contents that will be appreciated throughout the world.
