The multi-talented Razif Hashim, a well-established gourmet reporter in Malaysia, serves as the Program's host, interjecting comical reactions as he conveys to Malaysian viewers in an easy-to-understand manner the appeal of dishes and food products from across Japan
The Program was intended not only to introduce local cuisine as one of the pleasures awaiting visitors to Japan but also to familiarize Malaysian viewers with farm and fishery products from Japan via interviews with food producers and farming experiences. At the events being held on March 5, Razif will be replicating the program at Isetan KLCC and B.I.G., both supermarkets that sell Japanese food products locally, and helping publicize fruits and other fresh farm produce from Japan.
The joint production of the Program as well as these events enjoy support from the Broadcast Program Export Association of Japan (BEAJ) as a FY2015 Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications "Broadcast Content Overseas Dissemination Model Project Contributing to Local Economic Vitalization through Consortiums."
